Cycling Instructor Recruitment

To become an instructor or assistant instructor on our Bikeability scheme you should be; passionate about cycling, a confident regular cyclist able to ride on roads, happily willing to work with groups of young people and be over 18 for Instructors or over 16 for Assistant Instructors (on the date a course starts).

Qualified Instructors

If you are a qualified National Standards Instructor please get in touch as we are constantly adding to our pool of instructors. Contact Andrew Crossley for an application form.

New Instructors

We work with the CTC the national cycling charity and and a National Standards Instructor Training Organisation (ITO) to train new instructors. The next course is pencilled in for Spring 2013 - contact us for more details.

Andrew is the Bikeability Training Manager and it his job to coordinate delivery of the scheme across the city. He is also a fully qualified instructor and his role also involves mentoring new and existing staff.
